Galveston Pleasure Pier Family Session
We love watching the Love family grow! (How appropriate, am I right? ;) ) We have had the privilege of taking photos for Heather and Justin, and now little Payton for the past year; we’ve been able to see Heather during pregnancy, met baby Payton right after her birth, and now celebrate her first birthday and her parents making it through their first year with everyone happy and healthy!
Heather chose Pleasure Pier as the spot for this commemoration, since that is where we also did their maternity photos in 2019. What a way to celebrate and reminisce! The day was a warm August evening at the beach, but we were blessed with a good breeze, and the ability to not have to work around the summer crowd. Payton loved the water, and we had a great time overall!

Houston, TX Family Session: Guevara Family
Everyone was full of smiles during this gorgeous family session!
We were so blessed to be able to squeeze this mini session in that day- as you can see from the clouds, a storm was brewing right behind us, but they made for a STUNNING backdrop to all of their pictures! :D

Abril & Mauricio’s sweet family was such an easy one to photograph- everyone had such great smiles and were so much fun! We were so blessed to be able to squeeze this mini session in that day- as you can see from the clouds, a storm was brewing right behind us, but they made for a STUNNING backdrop to all of their pictures! :D We finished this family session right on time- as soon as we were all walking back to the car, the downpour began!
Webster, TX Family Session: Garcia Family
Everyone loves a good family session around Christmastime, including us! The Garcia family was gorgeous and so easy to work with- even with 5 kiddos!

Challenger Seven Park, a personal favorite, was a perfect backdrop for their session and never disappoints! The day was perfect, the smiles were golden, and the rest is history. Check out their session!
Urban Downtown Houston Engagements: Kassie + Ryan
Kassie & Ryan were sooo cuteee, y’all!
We chose downtown Houston as the location for their portraits- Kassie wanted something a little city-feeling, and as we explored, we found some great spots along the way! We ended the session on top of a garage rooftop at sunset to put the icing on the cake of their killer urban session. Kassie’s outfit was perfect for upcoming NYE, and we can’t wait to celebrate their wedding at The Springs- Wallisville later this year!

It’s the most wonderful timeeee of the yearrrr…
Of course, we are referring to CHRISTMAS! Our Christmas mini sessions have come and gone, but we are pumped about how everyone’s sessions went, and the fact that we 100% sold out of our available times! (We may have to add more days next year- don’t tell Josh!)
Minis days are long, but totally rewarding to see so many adorable families, and to think of our families sharing their Christmas cards with loved ones❤️

Galveston Pleasure Pier Maternity Session: Heather + Justin
We LOVE Galveston, so when Heather said that she wanted a beachy maternity session, we were 100% here for it!

Heather wanted some photos under the pier, and some on the jetty, so that’s exactly what we made happen for her, and boy am I glad that we did. The day was perfect, the colors were just so vibrant beautiful, and if you didn’t know Galveston, you wouldn’t even be able to tell- I’d think Cali if I didn’t already know better!
Heather chose a dusty rose colored dress for herself and a teal shirt for Justin, and I don’t know if she could have made a better choice. The colors truly complimented each other and the background, and helped to add a little bit of color pop to each photo.
Heather, you truly looked like an absolute angel, and we can’t wait to meet your little girl next month!
PS- If you ever want to do a Galveston maternity, family, senior, engagement, bridal, or basically any session you can think of, let us know! We’ll totally be down to clown. ;)

It’s always a pleasure to work with Desiree and her family! We met Desiree shooting Kelley & Jorge’s wedding, where she and her colleague were the coordinators. (Shameless plug, if you need a coordinator, contact D&R Event Coordinators!) When Desiree asked to do a session for her 6th and 3rd grader, we were like, uh yeah- sounds great! We chose the Houston Graffiti Park as a fun, colorful location for their photos.

We had originally scheduled their session in June, but Houston weather rained us out. If you’re from Houston, you know how it goes. *heavy eyeroll* Thankfully, we had the most perfect weather for their session this past Saturday to get some gorgeous family photos!
