Texas A&M Galveston Seniors 2024: Ella

Our associate, Megan, did this session and we’re thrilled on how it turned out! Ella and Megan met and serve together at Valiant Church on Galveston island, where Ella has invited many of her college friends. Ella’s studies and tattoos were driven by her passion for the ocean, so naturally, she wanted to her photos to showcase that passion by taking some photos right on the beach near Galveston Pleasure Pier.

After graduation, she plans to continue her post-grad studies at Oceans Research Institute in South Africa. (how cool!) We can’t wait to see your success and adventures, Ella!

Garten Verein- Galveston, TX Wedding: Rebecca + Cole

Rebecca and Cole had probably the most relaxed and peaceful wedding day that we have ever been a part of! They really wanted to ensure that we were able to capture some impeccable images of them before their ceremony, and although the rain washed out our plans to head to the beach, we were able to get some absolutely stunning images of this gorgeous couple before their ceremony.

From the start of the day at Church of the Living God to the reception at Garten Verein, every part of their wedding day was fun and filled with God’s presence.

Rebecca & Cole, congratulations on your big day and we know that you both will walk in God’s will throughout your marriage. May you stay blessed and abide in love! <3

Galveston Pleasure Pier Family Session

We love watching the Love family grow! (How appropriate, am I right? ;) ) We have had the privilege of taking photos for Heather and Justin, and now little Payton for the past year; we’ve been able to see Heather during pregnancy, met baby Payton right after her birth, and now celebrate her first birthday and her parents making it through their first year with everyone happy and healthy!

Heather chose Pleasure Pier as the spot for this commemoration, since that is where we also did their maternity photos in 2019. What a way to celebrate and reminisce! The day was a warm August evening at the beach, but we were blessed with a good breeze, and the ability to not have to work around the summer crowd. Payton loved the water, and we had a great time overall!

Heather & Justin, you made it! And Payton, happy birthday little one!

Galveston Pleasure Pier Maternity Session: Heather + Justin

We LOVE Galveston, so when Heather said that she wanted a beachy maternity session, we were 100% here for it!

Heather wanted some photos under the pier, and some on the jetty, so that’s exactly what we made happen for her, and boy am I glad that we did. The day was perfect, the colors were just so vibrant beautiful, and if you didn’t know Galveston, you wouldn’t even be able to tell- I’d think Cali if I didn’t already know better!

Heather chose a dusty rose colored dress for herself and a teal shirt for Justin, and I don’t know if she could have made a better choice. The colors truly complimented each other and the background, and helped to add a little bit of color pop to each photo.

Heather, you truly looked like an absolute angel, and we can’t wait to meet your little girl next month!

PS- If you ever want to do a Galveston maternity, family, senior, engagement, bridal, or basically any session you can think of, let us know! We’ll totally be down to clown. ;)

Galveston Beachtown Engagements: Allie + Chris

Allie & Chris were SUCH A BLAST!

Josh has known Chris for years, and it was a great time for them to reconnect and have some fun taking engagement portraits for him and his bride-to-be. :)

Josh has known Chris for years, and it was a great time for them to reconnect and have some fun taking engagement portraits for him and his bride-to-be. :)

As we learned, they had already taken engagement photos late last year, but in the fall. Allie mentioned that since they are having a summer wedding, she really wanted some brighter, more summer-feeling photos of the two of them to match their big day. We agreed on one of our FAVORITE spots, Galveston island!

For all you haters out there, Galveston really does have a lot to offer! Not only did we get the bright, fun photos that Allie was looking for, but the island really is more beautiful than you might think, especially Post Office Street and Beachtown, where we decided to spend our time during their session. Beachtown is (thankfully) not widely known, and is gorgeoussss. Driving up to the multi million dollar beach homes makes you forget that you are 45 minutes from Houston and 10 minutes from Pleasure Pier, and transports you to the east coast with breathtaking white plantation style homes and white picket fences. (Also, if you are ever in Beachtown, you have to try Porch Cafe- it’s one of our favorite date night spots because it’s so darn cute!)

At the end of the day, we had an incredible session with these two lovebirds, and even got some stunning sunset shots and cotton candy skies as the icing on the cake. Allie & Chris, we wish you years of joy and laughter, and after spending a few hours with you guys, I think you won’t have a problem with either! ;)
